SAZCOM is a management consultancy with expertise in the not for profit sector, founded in 2008.
How we can help
We provide a suite of tailored management consulting services, SAZCOM has worked with many organisations, large and small, providing expertise in organisational development, leadership, strategic planning, marketing, fundraising and communications. Our people know how to drive major projects and campaigns and deliver exceptional results.
SAZCOM also manages charity partnerships and celebrity ambassador relationships for some of Australia’s leading brands and high profile campaigns.
We are focused on human rights, social justice, disability rights, public health, innovation and education.
We are public relations, media relations and government relations specialists. We will work to devise and execute a communications strategy that supports your business strategy or your policy and advocacy work. We are all about impact and outcomes.
In today’s competitive world important stories about human rights, social justice, disability, education, and public health sometimes struggle to be told.
Predominantly the domain of the not-for-profit sector, there are stories and cases that need to be presented in order to build public awareness, advocate for change, and sometimes to grab the attention of the powers that be. We know about the challenges and delights of working in the not-for-profit world.
SAZCOM is dedicated to championing the stories and work of a range of wonderful organisations, giving a voice to those who often are not heard, and shaking things up a bit when needed.
We like to be creative.

SAZCOM was established after identifying an opportunity to provide excellent and consistent management and communications expertise to not for profit organisations working with constrained budgets. The business model is based on creating a virtual consulting practice bringing talented and experienced professionals together and delivering outstanding results for our clients. SAZCOM often works in an ‘in-house’ capacity, assembling professional teams, and reporting directly to Boards and CEOs.
From 2015 to 2018 at a time of considerable change in the disability sector in Australia SAZCOM focused on disability and the work of Disabled People’s Organisations Australia. Sara was the Director, Operations and Communications at First Peoples Disability Network (FPDN).
SAZCOM Consulting will relaunch in July 2018 in Australia and New Zealand.
